Here you will find the key information for families. The rest of the website is in Spanish, and the school office is happy to help.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<section class=\"gm-sec\" style=\"padding-top:30px\"><div class=\"gm-wrap gm-en-grid\">\n<article class=\"gm-en-card\"><h2>About us<\/h2><p>We teach Infant Education (ages 3\u20136), Primary Education (ages 6\u201312) and the first two years of Secondary Education, 1\u00ba and 2\u00ba ESO (ages 12\u201314). Children can stay at the same school for eleven years.<\/p><p>We have two classes in each year group. Robotics is part of the timetable.<\/p><p>Pupils whose first language is not Spanish get extra Spanish support to help them settle in.<\/p><\/article>\n<article class=\"gm-en-card\"><h2>Our bilingual programme<\/h2><p>We are part of the Comunidad de Madrid Bilingual Programme (Spanish\u2013English), from Infant to 2\u00ba ESO. Pupils learn English and study other subjects in English, such as Science, Arts and Crafts and Physical Education.<\/p><p>In April 2026, 98% of our Year 6 pupils passed the official Cambridge exams (A2 Key and B1 Preliminary). <a href=\"https:\/\/site.educa.madrid.org\/cp.gabrielamistral.madrid\/index.php\/tablon-de-anuncios\/resultados-pruebas-externas\/#cambridge\">See results (in Spanish)<\/a><\/p><p>We take part in eTwinning projects with schools in Europe and have a twin school abroad.<\/p><\/article>\n<article class=\"gm-en-card\"><h2>The school day<\/h2><dl class=\"gm-facts-list\"><div><dt>Infant and Primary<\/dt><dd>October to May: lessons 9:00\u201312:30 and 14:30\u201316:00. Lunch 12:30\u201314:30.<\/dd><\/div><div><dt>September and June<\/dt><dd>Lessons 9:00\u201313:00. Lunch until 15:00.<\/dd><\/div><div><dt>1\u00ba and 2\u00ba ESO<\/dt><dd>8:15\u201314:25, or until 15:20 on days with an elective subject, all year. School lunch is available afterwards.<\/dd><\/div><div><dt>ESO electives<\/dt><dd>French (an experimental project with 4 sessions a week instead of 2), Computing and Sport.<\/dd><\/div><div><dt>Age 3<\/dt><dd>A settling-in period in the first week of September.
