I am from Chicago, USA and have recently graduated from university in Massachusetts with my bachelor’s degree. Hello, I am Charlie<\/strong>, an English Aux this year at Colegio San Sebastian Meco. I am from the Chicago Area in a small town named Glencoe. I love studying history and politics and cannot wait to pass my knowledge of the English language down to the children at Colegio San Sebastian this year. When not working I love to play sports, hike, ski and spend quality time with friends and family. Hi, I’m Michelle <\/strong>from East Los Angeles. I’ve been living in Madrid for four years and have been working with students for 5 years. Outside of the classroom I enjoy exploring the city and finding a cozy bench to sit and either write in my journal or read. If you don’t find me exploring the city you will find me sharing a great or absurd conversation with a friend while drinking coffee and eating a slice of banana bread at a local caf\u00e9. This year I look forward to collaborating with my co- teachers and learn students’ learning styles to better approach their needs. To foster a dynamic and fun environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and view English learning in a positive way.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hi! My name is Molly <\/strong>and I am an auxiliar de conversaci\u00f3n at San Sebasti\u00e1n school this year.  I’m from Chicago, IL, USA (go White Sox!) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have 5+ years of experience as an arts educator, tutor and substitute teacher.  In my spare time, I love writing and directing films, playing softball with my family and cooking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best teachers I had growing up challenged me academically and encouraged me to be a kinder and more empathetic person. I hope I can do the same for students this year.  I’m so grateful to be here! <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

My name is Ashlie<\/strong>, and I will be an English Language Assistant at your school for the 25-26 academic year. I am from a small town in Northern California called Healdsburg. I got my Bachelor’s degree\u00a0in English at UC Davis. Then, I moved to the Los Angeles area to go to school for my teaching credential. In my free time I enjoy going on walks, taking photos of nature, and watching a good movie. I also enjoy rooting for my favorite sports teams – The Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49ers, and San Francisco Giants. Lastly, I really love animals. Back home I have four cats, and\u00a0I also keep chickens and ducks for eggs. Hello! My name is Sean<\/strong>, and I am from Boston, Massachusetts. I studied marketing, information systems, and psychology in college and have always had a love for teaching! In my free time, I like to do anything outdoors, whether its running, hiking, or\u00a0traveling. A fun fact about me is I have lived in over 15 different places throughout my life, and I’m so excited to pass on what I’ve learned to the children at Colegio San Sebastian Meco this year!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

En el CEIP San Sebasti\u00e1n contamos con 6 auxiliares de conversaci\u00f3n nativos<\/strong> que colaboran en las \u00e1reas que se imparten en ingl\u00e9s con el profesorado. Se trata de un valioso recurso humano que potencia el proceso de comunicaci\u00f3n en lengua inglesa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre las funciones de los auxiliares de conversaci\u00f3n cabe destacar: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Reforzar las destrezas orales del alumnado en la lengua extranjera.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Fomentar el inter\u00e9s del alumnado por la lengua, la cultura y civilizaci\u00f3n de su pa\u00eds de origen
    as\u00ed como el intercambio cultural.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Realizar pr\u00e1cticas espec\u00edficas de conversaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Aportar recursos did\u00e1cticos, especialmente material originario de su pa\u00eds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
