\u00bfQu\u00e9 es y c\u00f3mo se organiza?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Es un proyecto de la Comunidad de Madrid cuya finalidad es mejorar las capacidades del alumnado en Lengua Inglesa para poder afrontar los retos del mundo globalizado en las mejores condiciones para lograr el \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El IES San Crist\u00f3bal de los \u00c1ngeles ha implantado para este curso  2016\/2017 el Proyecto Biling\u00fce  en sus dos modalidades : SECCI\u00d3N BILING\u00dcE y PROGRAMA BILING\u00dcE. En ambas modalidades se imparten cinco horas de ingl\u00e9s semanales, dos m\u00e1s que en los institutos no biling\u00fces.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El alumnado podr\u00e1 ser matriculado en la Secci\u00f3n si viene propuesto desde un colegio p\u00fablico biling\u00fce de la Comunidad de Madrid (seg\u00fan las pruebas de ingl\u00e9s que realizan en 6\u00ba de Primaria), o si acredita estar en posesi\u00f3n de un nivel B1 (PET) del Marco Com\u00fan Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas, en caso de proceder de otros centros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la Secci\u00f3n se imparten 5 horas de Ingl\u00e9s Avanzado a la semana, adem\u00e1s de las asignaturas de  Biolog\u00eda y Geolog\u00eda, Geograf\u00eda e Historia, Educaci\u00f3n F\u00edsica y  tutor\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, los estudios en el Programa  ven incrementado el n\u00famero de horas de ingl\u00e9s a 5 semanales, adem\u00e1s de impartirse tambi\u00e9n en Ingl\u00e9s la asignatura de Educaci\u00f3n F\u00edsica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is it and How is it organised?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a project run by the Madrid Autonomous Regional Government whose main goal is to improve students\u2019 aptitude in the English Language with a view to providing them with skills which will allow them to cope with an ever more globalised world, thus ensuring students\u2019 success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first time, this present school year 2016-17  will see our first year students   included in the bilingual Project with subjects being taught both in English and Spanish.  The amount to which children learn such subjects, either in English or Spanish, is dictated by law and is divided into two branches:  Section and Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once a student has been given a place in first year in the school, they must have come directly from a state bilingual primary school and have at least an A2 according to the Common European Framework of References for Languages to be able to be enrolled in Section. If a student applies from an independent school or non-bilingual state primary school then they must possess level B1 on the Common European Framework of References for Languages scale in order to enter in Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Section, students receive 5 hours a week of English Language and Literature classes as well as Guidance and these  subjects:  Biology and Geology, Geography and History and Physical Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students in\u00a0Programme\u00a0also receive 5 hours of English, although this does not include the literature content. They also receive in English Physical Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
