This year, on the 3rd of December, the kids who work on the schools newspaper went to the townhall.
The reason that this all happened was because the Spanish Constitution had its 46th birthday, and six kids of each school of el Escorial had to read some articles of the Constitutuion.
This year we were the president school. So we had to choose a president, but it could only be a girl of sixth grade because of gender equality. So we decided it was Martina, she simplified the Constitution so little kids could understand.
We read the Spanish Constitution out loud in front of a big audience, including the mayor of El Escorial. We had a lot of fun.

We weren’t the only school that participated; Gredos San Diego of El Escorial, Asociación Aulencia, etc.
Mario was the second most important reader, he read the Preámbulo.
When the kids finished reading, we took a photo with a weird cake that looked like plastic so three boys put their fingers in it, but only two ate it. They told us that the flavour was “Ferrero Rocher” which is a popular chocolate brand.
