Remember that there will be an online lesson 10.45 to 11.30 everyday. We’ll use the same link you have for Angie’s lessons, this way you don’t need to have many different links for the online classes:

The tasks for the following days are:
ENGLISH:
Wednesday: Read the text on page 46, write the unkown vocabulary on your notebook, look up the words and activities 1, 2, 4 on page 43 (Activity Book).
Thursday: Activity Book p. 123 act. 2: Write an article on your favourite film (type of film, characters, recommendation…). Link to the task in the virtual class. Steps:
- Write the draft (borrador) on your notebook.
- Then, write the article on you computer to send it through the virtual classroom.
- Once I’ve checked your article in the virtual classroom, correct the mistakes on the notebook.
Wonder: Answer the following questions on your notebook about the chapters you had to read over Christmas:
- The Summer Table: 1.- What had Summer for lunch? Did she like it? Why? 2.- How are their names related?
- One to Ten: August said that the day at school had been a 5 in a scale of 1 to 10, was it what his mother was expecting? What did she expect?
- Padawan: 1.-How did Via react when she found out that August had cut off his braid? 2.- Who talk to August in his room that night? Who read a book?
- September: What did August think about the other kids’ attitude towards him at school?
- Jack Will: Why did Jack and August had to change chairs?
Friday: Prepare your oral presentation for this term. Remember that it must be 1’30» to 2′, you must not read the presentation, only in case you forget something. Choose a topic you like and that is easy for you. Don’t use complicated words.
The irregular verb test will be on Tuesday 19th.
ARTS: WEDNESDAY
Surrealism: Magritte.
1.-Watch the videos in the virtual classroom (Surrealism and Magritte).
2.-Read the pdf in the virtual classroom.
3.- Have a go at creating a room. Look for elements you can paste inside that room that will make it surrealistic. We will work on that next week (January 20th) but you can practise at home. Do you remember about perspective and the vanishing point you studied with Pedro last year? You’ll need that elements for this work.

-> Realizar un mapa conceptual de los orígenes de la Edad Contemporánea con dos ramas principales (La Revolución Industrial y la Revolución francesa). Si es necesario, volver a ver los vídeos del día anterior para comprender bien la importancia de ambos eventos y sus repercusiones en la sociedad europea.
