We have very talented students at the secondary school. They don’t often have the chance to demonstrate their skills, but they deserve to be shown.
Here are some bookmarks from the Love mark contest that took place in the school for St. Valentine’s day. They were made by students of 1º ESO (12 years old), our first course at the secondary school. Paula Rodríguez, Saúl Muñoz or Miriam Pérez were some of the studnets who won the competition.
We read a book in each course every year. A graded reading in the non-bilingual courses and an original version in the bilingual courses. We do some follow-up with the readings. This is a picture that one students of 1º de ESO (12 years old) painted on the book: The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde. They enjoyed the book a lot. It was made by Rocío Goyanes when she was in 1º ESO.
On the same book, a student wrote an alternate ending to the story. Written by Paula Bagazgoitia when she was in 1º ESO, it shows a more modern, feminist approach to the tale.
