This year, 2nd year students from the bilingual section have read The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips by Michael Morpurgo. As a project to celebrate International Book Day this year, students have made a knolling, which can be defined an display of objects arranged in an organised geometrical way to create an aesthetic effect of order and neatness. We decided to apply this idea to convey the students’ impressions on the book
The goal of this project was to spark students’ creativity. They were asked to create their own knolling, selecting objects that best represented the most significant events in the story. Students had to take a photo of their knolling and then record themselves either on video or audio explaining their choices.
