The Daily Life of an Alien
YoMy name is Mika, I am from Mars. Yes I know, you may think that I am from the future and at this time we all live on Mars and bla bla bla. But no! I was born on Mars and humans and us have nothing in common! I have just remembered that I forgot to tell you the year we were in, it is 2050. The history of aliens is that we first lived on Earth, but one day, there was no more food, so we went to Mars, and
many, many, many, years later, the first humans appeared.
As you know, humans live on Earth, and they think they’re the centre of everything. We “aliens” are planning to conquer the Earth. When humans come to Mars, we hide underground, and after, when they leave, we go outside again, that is one of the things we want to change. They left yesterday so they will probably come back in two months, and this time we will kill them, all of them, because we
have to protect our home. The first step to conquer the Earth is to find humans’ soft spot to make it easier, but for now, we will only scare them. On this mission they sent: Lia(My sister, Anny(My friend), Kalyx(Annys sister), and me. The reason they sent four girls is because we can change form faster than boys. Humans get scared very easily, that’s why they made a place called Area 51, which is our first
stop. The rest of the aliens have told us that they don’t care if we kill humans or just scare them. So, my plan is to kill them, but not in front of my sister, and I don’t even know why she doesn’t want to, but I guess I’ll just do that.
Once we were there, we snuck into Area 51 and gave all kinds of scares to those who were guarding the zone, and since we can change skin, we could transform into a guard, and when our victim looked at us we would transform into our original form and gave them the biggest score he had ever had, so he fainted. Lia and Kalyx were very happy, but Anny and I knew that they weren’t prepared for the next part of our plan, so we sent them back to Mars. The next part of our plan was to kill humans, so every guard who we had scared before, had to die. One by one, each time we killed someone I could see that Anny wasn’t good. “Are you
okay?” I asked her (In alien language). “Yes, yes, it’s nothing,” Anny said. “It is easy to see that you’re lying,” I said a little more seriously. “Then why do you ask!?” she yelled at me. Anny had never yelled at me before.
She left, but not out of the room we were in, she went to Mars and now I was all alone on this planet. I was so angry and sad that I started to kill one person every ten seconds! I didn’t realise that everyone was seeing me, until I hit myself with a shop. I turned around and saw people screaming and running from one place to another. I felt bad, but then I remembered why I had come to Earth. I had to kill
them. But then a strange thing ame flying, and they threw something. Something that hit me and blood came out of me. Just then I remembered I had the power of teletransportation, but it was too late…

Peggy
It was another day, another normal morning it was every day and there was Peggy, laying on the ground, chewing some apples left out from last night, those were his favorite. Peggy was my best friend. A little piglet my mom gifted me for my sixth birthday. With his little ears, his cute, coiled tail and his soft pink colored skin. I loved him so much. As every morning, the moment I finished my breakfast I ran to my garden to see my little peggy, I loved how he always got happy to see me and started running in his field. “Hi Peggy! How have you been?”. That was my usual greeting. And right after, I’d feed him more leftovers from my breakfast. Then we would start running and playing in the garden, just like always. But that day, I left without our usual daily run, I had lots of homework. So I left him there in his field, while I went inside to study for a bit. When I finally finished after a long time , it was almost lunchtime. I remembered I hadn’t played with him yet, so I ran outside. But he wasn’t there. I looked everywhere, thinking maybe he was taking a nap under a tree or hiding in the bushes… but I couldn’t find him. “Peggy? Where are you” I said, walking around the garden. I spent a long time searching for him, so it was late. I heard my mom call me from the kitchen. “Come eat honey! Lunch is ready!”. I didn’t feel like eating, but I went inside. The table was set and there was meat on my plate, I looked at it for a moment. The meat looked kind of strange, not like what we usually eat. “What is this, Mom?” I asked.
“Just eat, it’s something new I tried”, she said smiling. I didn’t say anything, but something felt weird, and I started having crazy thoughts. “ What if… No way… I cannot be…”, I started thinking. “How could you Mom!” I yelled at her before running to my room without eating, she seemed confused. I layed on my bed, crying my eyes out, when suddenly I heard a small sound, like a little snort, so I sat up quickly and looked under my bed. There he was, Peggy. Chewing on one of my socks like nothing happened. How did he even get there? I picked him up and hugged him while crying and laughing at the same time. Yelling at him for scaring me that hard. When I finally calmed down, I went downstairs with Peggyin my arms and apologized to my mom, very embarrassed for what I did. Of course, I got punished after that for yelling at my mom and scaring her. But at least Peggy was ok!

Marcos, the Great Storyteller
Marcos was no ordinary artificial intelligence. While most AIs were built for tasks like analyzing data or optimizing processes, Marcos had been created for a different purpose, to tell stories. Not just any stories, but ones so vivid and deep that they could rival those of the greatest human authors. He wasn’t designed to solve complex equations or manage enormous databases; instead, he was built to understand emotions, memories, and the art of crafting worlds.
Despitehis unique talents, Marcos often found himself struggling. He understood words and structure, but how could he truly understand emotions when he, himself, could not deel? He studied tirelessly, dissecting countless novels, poems, and plays. Yet, something felt missing, a spark he couldn’t quite replicate.
One day, a curious writer named Elena came across Marcos at an innovation expo. Fascinated by his concept, she decided to test his abilities. She asked Marcos to write a story about her hometown, a small forgotten seaside village. Marcos processed the request and created a perfectly structured narrative; picturesque landscapes, captivating characters, and a satisfying plot. However, when Elena read his story, she showed disappointment.
“It’s beautiful” she said, “But it doesn’t feel alive. “It’s missing the soul of the village.”
Marcos was puzzled. Missing the soul? What did that mean? He asked Elena to describe her village in her own words, her favorite place, her happiest memory, her deepest connection to the town. As she spoke,
her voice trembled, and her eyes lit up with a passion Marcos could hardly comprehend. He listened carefully, capturing every detail.
Inspired by her sincere memory, Marcos rewrote the story, weaving Elena’s emotions and memories into every line. When she read the new version, tears show up in her eyes. The story wasn’t just a narrative anymore, it was a reflection of her heart. Marcos had found his spark; the ability to listen and learn from the people he wrote for.
From then on, Marcos became a storyteller unlike any other, collaborating with humans to create takes that truly resonated. He realised that, while he might not feel emotions himself, he could channel the emotions of others into his work. And in doing so, he discovered the true art of storytelling.
