We want you to tell us positive and negative things about your experience with sharing two different cultures. If your parents or grandparents came from a different country or from a different place in Spain, we want you to tell us what it is like: your summer holidays, your Christmas without your loved ones, your messages, expecting to see your friends or grandparents there the following summer, and the good experiences and the pictures you share with them. We would love to hear anything you would like to share.
From the English Department we share a vision of the person as a global citizen. Based on our experience of learning a language, we have gone through the experience of being alone in a world in which we are different due to the culture and the language. But we have learned that when we get to know each other our mind widens and our world becomes richer. That is the reason why we want to contribute with a little tribute to all the people who share two different worlds and we are very proud of it.
We thank our incredibly gifted student Carmen Cruz from 4ºESO C for drawing this picture for us. It shows the transformation that we all experience when we belong to two different worlds.
