IES SATAFI

On the 30th and 31st of November the English department held a Halloween activity day for the first of ESO students. Students from forth of ESO Ampliación English prepared and delivered a range of fun activities for the first of ESO students, such as quizzes, word games and scary videos.

From the perspective of a language assistant, it was so rewarding to see the students of ampliación put their English skills to use in a new setting. They were able to explain the activities in an engaging manner that the students of first of ESO loved! The students even took on acting roles to help make the Halloween experience as scary and immersive as possible.

It was amazing to see the range of costumes, work with new students, and to show the first of ESO students the ways that English can be exciting. I felt incredibly proud of the ampliación students for leading such a fun few days – there are certainly some future teachers in the making!

El pasado 30 y 31 de octubre las profesoras de inglés de 1º de ESO y 4º de Ampliación de inglés organizaron unos talleres de Halloween para el alumnado de 1º de ESO. El alumnado de Ampliación de inglés nos ayudó muy activamente a desarrollar los talleres y también contamos con la colaboración de nuestras auxiliares de conversación.
