JORNADAS CULTURALES EL CINE
Por la lluvia de la mañana, se realizó el desfile por los pasillos y el porche del colegio.
Due to the morning rain, the parade was held through the halls and on the porch of the school.
El colegio se lo pasó genial y los padres pudieron ver un desfile lleno de música e ilusión.
The school had a great time and the parents were able to see a parade full of music and excitement.

En infantil, les tocó trabajar África.
Como colegio y en el patio, pusimos en común nuestros mensajes, cantamos y bailamos al ritmo de la canción por un Mundo Mejor: What a Wonderful World de Louis Armstrong con una versión de Los Ramones rockera.

En infantil, 1º y 2º hemos podido disfrutar de un cuentacuentos cuyos personajes eran dinosaurios y se trataba la gestión de las emocional.
In infant, 1º and 2º grade we had a story telling with dinosaurs and the story was about emotional managment.

VISITA DE LA FUNDACIÓN SENARA
La autora del cuento «El niño con una caja en la cabeza» visitó el martes 28 a la clase de 5 años y a los grupos de 1º. Fue una sesión donde se buscó trabajar la PREVENCIÓN DE TODO TIPO DE DISCRIMINACIÓN desde el respeto y reconocimiento a la dignidad de cada persona.

El jueves 23 de mayo, todos los cursos tuvieron la mágica visita del mago David Navares.

El 14 de mayo, hemos celebrado San Isidro en el colegio. Las familias han venido a ver a los/as alumnos/as bailar un pasodoble y un chotis. En clase, hemos hecho manualidades.
On May 14th, we celebrated San Isidro at school. The families have come to see the students dance a pasodoble and a chotis. In class, we have done some crafts.
DÍA DEL LIBRO 23 DE ABRIL/ BOOK´S DAY 23RD OF APRIL
Hoy ha sido el día del libro y las clases de 3º hemos preparado un recital de poesía. Además hemos traído nuestro libro favorito al cole y hemos leído al aire libre. ¡Lo hemos pasado fenomenal!
Today was Book Day and the 3rd grade classes have prepared a poetry recital. We have also brought our favorite book to school and read outdoors. We had a great time!
VISITAS EN 1º DE PRIMARIA
La semana pasada, 1º de PRIMARIA recibió la visita de la policía para trabajar la Educación Vial (miércoles 17 de abril). También les visitaron unas enfermeras el jueves 18 de abril para darles un curso sobre Primeros Auxilios e Higiene. Los/as alumnos/as practicaron con sus peluches para saber cómo actuar en diferentes situaciones y si tienen que hacer RCP.
Last week, 1st Grade received a visit from the police to learn about Road Safety Education (Wednesday, April 17). Some nurses also visited them on Thursday, April 18 to give them a course on First Aid and Hygiene. The students practiced with their stuffed animals to learn how to act in different situations and if they have to do a CPR.

Los estudiantes disfrutan de una excursión a un centro de atletismo para experimentar las diferentes pruebas: salto de longitud, de altura, lanzamiento y carreras. Disfrutaron mucho de la excursión.
Students enjoy a fieldtrip to an athletic center to experience the different tasks: longitude and altitude launch and races. They enjoy the excursion very much!

Discovering the Olimpics (English Workshop)
En un primer momento aprendieron sobre la historia de las Olimpiadas, la mascota francesa llamada «Los Frigios» y los deportes olímpicos.
Firstly they learnt about the history of the Olympics, the meaning of the Olympic Rings, the French mascot «The Phringes» and Olympic sports.
Después, jugamos a un juego de mímica representando los deportes olímpicos.
Then we played a miming game related to Olympic sports.
Al final, los/as alumnos/as decoraron las medallas que ganaron por su trabajo duro. Ellos/as escribieron su nombre, su deporte favorito y la colorearon.
In the end, they decorated the medal they won for all their hard work!! They wrote their name, drew their favorite sport and coloured it.

Todo el colegio fue a ver una representación de teatro en el centro cultural El Pozo.
The entire school went to see a theater performance at the El Pozo cultural center.
Los cursos de 3, 4 y 5 años, así como 1º y 2º vieron Jack y las habichuelas mágicas («Jack and the Beanstalk»)
Kinder 3, 4 and 5, as well as 1st and 2nd Grades, watched Jack and the Beanstalk.
Desde 3º a 6º se vio una obra de los animales en la jungla.
From 3rd to 6th Grade a play of animals in the jungle was seen.

PRESENTACIONES PRIMERO/ 1st GRADE PRESENTATIONS
Los alumnos/as de primero completaron el reto planteado antes de Navidad: presentar sus fotografías o dibujos de los hábitos saludables que habían realizado durante las vacaciones. Partiamos de la dificultad debido a que en las Fiestas se tiende a comer y a ver películas, así como descansar. No obstante, nos contaron sus vacaciones de una manera original y demostrando que quieren ser sanos y que son unos deportistas.
The first Graders completed the challenge set before Christmas: presenting their photographs or drawings of the healthy habits they had carried out during the holidays. We started from the difficulty because during the holidays there is a tendency to eat and watch movies, as well as rest. However, they told us about their vacation in an original way and showing that they want to be healthy and that they enjoy doing sports.

Esta primera sema la Coordinadora de Bienestar junto con el equipo de Clima Escolar de la Junta de Villa de Vallecas, han realizado unas dinámicas de «Bienvenida», para que el alumnado se conozca, interactúe y se genera un clima emocional positivo y relajado, para ayudar a que se favorezca el aprendizaje.
This firts week, the Welfare Coordinator and the Positive School Environment Team from Villa de Vallecas Municipal Board did different «Welcome activities» with the pupils in order to make them to know each other, to interact among them and to rase a positive and relaxing emotional environment that helps to foster the learning process.

During this morning, all pupils had the chance to have a small approach to a very interesting sport, tennis. It isn’t easy to have the opportunity to practice tennis and in our case with reall good experts that gave us all the material. Thanks a lot!!!

Este curso hemos celebrado San Isidro con el colegio por la mañana bailando chotis, pasodobles y tomando barquillos y limonada y por la tarde con la AFA del centro. ¡Ha sido genial!
This school year during the morning we celebrated San Isidro dancing «chotis» and «pasodobles» and eating «barquillos» and drinking lemonade and in the afternoon with the AFA from the school. It was a blast!!!
El pasado viernes 12 de mayo celebramos San Isidro y Nuestras Tradiciones. Invitamos a las familias del cole a compartir alguna tradición (gastronomía, trajes, etc) de sus lugares de origen. ¡Gracias a todos los participantes! Art&Mañas animó la fiesta con juegos tradicionales.
Like early birds, we celebrated Saint Isidro on Friday the 12th of May. Monday the 15th is Madrid’s patron day and therefore a holiday. Given that our school hosts many nationalities and cultures, we did invite everyone to share some typical food, clothing, music, etc from their place of origin and named our party: SAINT ISIDRO AND OUR TRADITIONS. We had tons of fun and some delicious treats! Art&Mañas treated us with some great traditional games too. All in all it was fun and, more importantly, it brought our school community together! Can’t wait for next year’s!

El equipo de Madrid+Salud estuvo en el colegio con la yincana de la nutrición y aprendimos muchas cosas sobre buena alimentación, ejercicios saludables y además nos divertimos y bailamos la canción de las frutas y las verduras.
Madrid+Salud team was in the school for the nutritional gymkhana. We learned a lot about healthy food and habits. Furthermore, we had a great time and danced the famous song about fruits and vegetables.

Los días 21 y 22 gracias a nuestras compañeras y compañeros de Madrid+Salud todos los alumnos y alumnas del centro aprendieron jugando muchas cosas sobre el agua, como la importancia de ahorrar las, lo importante que es para nuestras vidas, etc.
On the 21st and 22nd of March, thanks to our coworkers from Madrid+Salud, all our pupils learned many things about water, such as the importance of how to save it, how important it is for our lives, and more.

Hoy en algunas clases se ha trabajado Saint Patrick o el Banquete de Saint Patrick, que es una celebración cultural y religiosa el 17 de marzo, sobre la tradición de la muerte de Saint Patrick, el principal patrón santo de Irlanda.
Today some pupils participated in activities about Saint Patrick’s Day in their classes. They learned about the Feast of Saint Patrick, the cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, and the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland.

El Día Internacional de la Mujer, conmemora en cada 8 de marzo la lucha de las mujeres por su participación en la sociedad y su desarrollo íntegro como persona, en pie de igualdad con el hombre y en el colegio hemos hecho diferentes trabajos. Aqui os dejamos algunas muestras.
International Women´s Day is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8th as a focal point in the women’s rights movement and bringing attention to issues such as gender equality. Pupils participated in different activities in their classes. Here you have some pictures.

DEPORTES ALTERNATIVOS/ ALTERNATIVE SPORTS
En Educación Física estamos trabajando juegos y deportes alternativos como el Colpbol y el Datchball. Está resultando muy motivante para los alumnos, que además de practicarlos, están haciendo unos estupendos trabajos de investigación sobre ellos.
In PE we are working on alternative sports as Colpbol and Datchball. Pupils are really motivated and they are not only practicing them but also they are doing really good searching works.
MADRID SALUD
Madrid+salud estuvo en el centro dando información a las familias sobre los diferentes programas que tienen. Muchas familias y alumnos y alumnas se mostraron muy interesados.
Madrid+salud was in our school giving us information about its different programs. Pupils and families were very interested!

Los compañeros de comedor también celebran el carnaval y además hacen manualidades y juegan al ajedrez con los chicos y chicas.

Esta sema, Flor, la DUE del centro está haciendo diferentes talleres por todas las clases del colegio.
This week, Flor, the school DUE (nurse) is doing different workshops in all the classrooms.
Sigue la semana del carnaval y siguen los talleres de Flor. Hoy ha estado en 3, 4 y 5 años para que aprendan a prevenir accidentes.

PROYECTO DE APROXIMACIÓN AL RUGBY. CLUB GATOS DEL ENSANCHE
Hoy ha dado comienzo nuestro proyecto de APROXIMACIÓN AL RUGBY. Lo trabajaremos en las próximas semanas en algunas de las sesiones de Educación Física, con Alejandro Sánchez y Tobías Sanz (jugadores de la selección española) e Inés, coordinadora de la escuela de rugby del club Gatos del Ensache.
Today the project APPROACHING TO RUGBY started in our school. The following weeks we will train during PE classes, with Alejandro Sánchez and Tobías Sanz (Official Spanish Rugby Team players) and Inés, rugby Gatos del Ensache Club coordinator.

HALLOWEEN
Este año empezamos decorando las puertas de nuestras clases. Aquí podéis ver algunas.

Al final todo el colegio junto pudo juntarse en el patio para poder ver los diferentes disfraces.
At the end, the whole school got together in the playground to see each other´s costumes.
UNA INGENIERA EN CADA COLE
Hoy hemos tenido un taller en clase “UNA INGENIERA EN CADA COLE” impartido por Carmen y Elena, dos ingenieras agrónomas, que han venido de la Comunidad de Madrid a enseñarnos la importancia de la ingeniería en todos los ámbitos de la vida, así como fomentar el interés de las niñas en las carreras tecnológicas.
Estas son algunas de las actividades que han realizado y finalmente hemos hecho una puesta en común del taller y ellos han escrito una redacción y la realización de un dibujo de una mujer ingeniera.
¡¡Hemos aprendido y disfrutado mucho!!
Today we participated in a workshop titled “AN ENGINEER IN EACH CLASS” given by Carmen and Elena, two agricultural engineers, promoted by The Community of Madrid. The workshop´s purpose was to teach us how important the engineers are in all walks of life and to promote the value of girls in technological careers.
These are some of the activities they have created and finally we have had a discussion about the workshop, and the students wrote an essay as well as designed a drawing about women in the field of engineering.
We have learned and enjoyed a lot!!
PEDAGOGÍA TERAPEÚTICA/ AUDICIÓN Y LENGUAJE
Este año nuestro centro cuenta con una nueva figura, la maestra especialista en audición y lenguaje (Elena). Junto con la maestra de pedagogía terapéutica ( Alicia), acompañarán al profesorado para atender las diferentes necesidades del alumnado.
This school year we have two new teachers. Elena, who is the teacher training in Speech and Hearing, and Alicia, Specialist in Therapeutic Pedagogy. They will be joining our faculty to tend to our student´s various needs.
Desde el aula de atención a la Diversidad tenemos en cuenta el ritmo de aprendizaje del alumnado y sus capacidades, así como las emociones con las que enfrentarse a las diferentes situaciones, saber identificarlas y gestionarlas en cada momento.
Within our Diversity Attention Classroom, we acknowledge our students´ learning pace and capacity, as well as their emotions and how to face different situations. The students also learn to identify and deal with those emotions at any moment.

MANTENEMOS NUESTRO ESPACIO LIMPIO / WE KEEP OUR SPACE CLEAN
Entre los talleres que hacemos en SECOE, hemos empezado con uno en el que mantenemos nuestro espacio limpio y aprendemos a reciclar separando lo orgánico de los plásticos. El alumnado, como siempre, ha respondido con entusiasmo y están muy contentos.
Among the different workshops that we do in SECOE, we have started one that teaches the pupils to keep their space clean and they learn to recycle, separating organic from plastic. Children, as usual, have done the activity with enthusiasm and are very happy.
DÍA NACIONAL DE LA NUTRICIÓN / NUTRITION NATIONAL DAY
MadridSalud ha celebrado con nosotros en el colegio el «Día Nacional de la Nutrición» con diferentes actividades con las que nos divertimos y aprendimos muchas cosas.
Como lo pasamos muy bien os dejamos muchas fotos para que veáis lo que hicimos.
MadridSalud celebrated with us in our school the «Nutrition National Day». We participated in different activities. We had a great time and we learned many things.

SAN ISIDRO
Este año hemos celebrado San Isidro en el colegio.
This year we celebrated San Isidro in the school.
SECOE nos dio rosquillas y limonada.
SECOE gave us donuts and lemonade to enjoy.
Después todo el colegio junto bailó chotis y cantamos pasodobles.
Afterwards, we all danced «chotis» (a typical dance in Madrid) and sang «pasodobles» (a typical song for all of Spain).
También hicimos unas postales que vamos a poner todas juntas en una pared del colegio.
We also made some postcards that we are going to combine and place in one of our school walls.
Lo pasamos muy bien.

SCAPE ROOM
El alumnado de 6º pudo disfrutar del «escape room» que hicieron con las monitoras de las charlas afectivo sexuales que han tenido dentro del programa de Madrid salud de la Junta Municipal.
The 6th grade students enjoyed the escape room they had created with the teachers that came from Madrid Health from the Municipal Board to provide information on sexual education.
¡NOS VISITÓ EL DENTISTA! / THE DESTIST VISITED US!
Dentro del programa de Madrid Salud de la Junta Municipal, nos vino a visitar el dentista y nos dejó un informe de como están nuestros dientes de cada uno de nosotros. También nos regalaron un cepillo de dientes, pasta dentrífica y el espejo bucal con el que miraba a cada uno de nosotros.
Inside the Madrid Health program from the Municipal Board, a dentist came to visit us and he wrote information for each of us about how our teeth are. He also gave us a toothbrush, toothpaste and our own mouth mirror that he used to look at our teeth.
ACROSPORT
El pasado mes de febrero, el alumnado de Educación Primaria, desde 1º a 6º, trabajaron en las clases de Educación Física la disciplina gimnastica ACROSPORT.
El acrosport, también conocido como gimnasia acrobática, es una disciplina que se practica por parejas, tríos, cuartetos o en gran grupo. Es considerado como un deporte acrobático-coreográfico en el cual se integran tres elementos fundamentales: formación de figuras o pirámides corporales, acrobacias y elementos de fuerza, flexibilidad y equilibrios pero también se practican elementos de la danza, saltos y piruetas gimnásticas.
Todos los alumnos de primaria hicieron un gran trabajo y lo demostraron en la I Exhibición de Acrosport celebrada en el colegio el pasado 1 de marzo.
During February the students from 1st to 6th primary grades worked on Phisical Education a gymnastic discipline, ACROSPORT.
ACROSPORT is known too as acrobatic gymn and you can be in pairs, threes, fours or a big group. It is considered an acrobatic- choreographic sport in which three fundamental elements are integrated: creation of figures or body piramids, stunts and force elements, flexibility and balances, but elements from dance, jumps and gymnastic spins are practiced.
All of the students of primary did a great job and demonstrated the first exhibition of Acrosport celebrate at our school.
JORNADAS CULTURALES / CULTURAL SESSIONS
Las jornadas culturales este curso han girado entorno al mundo de los comics. A continuación podéis ver lo que hicimos en los diferentes talleres.
This year the cultural sessions have focused on the world of comics. Down below you can see what we did in the different workshops.
El taller de la profesora Celia se tituló «Mafalda» y el alumnado leyó diferentes viñetas a a las que luego tuvieron que cambiar el texto, poniendo a prueba toda su imaginación.
Teacher Celia’s workshop was titled «Mafalda» and the pupils read different vignettes, then they had to change the text, challeging their imagination.
Isabel y Alba hicieron que los alumnos se lo pasaran muy bien haciendo su propia cámara de fotografía para hacer una tira cómica de Mortadelo y Filemón.
Isabel and Alba got pupils to have a great time making their own cameras to make a Mortadelo and Filemón comic strip.
Irene y Lorena nos han enseñado lo que es una onomatopeya y que importantes son en el mundo de los comics.
Irene and Lorena taught us about an anomatopoeia and described what it is and how important they are for a comic.
El Arte Manga – Con la profesora Simona hemos aprendido sobre Japón, sobre los comics japoneses y finalmente un poco sobre la historia del Manga. Vimos un vídeo para aprender a dibujar caras de los comics «manga» paso a paso. También dibujamos al famoso personaje Pikachu. ¡Ha sido muy divertido!
Manga Art – With Simona we have learnt about Japan and Japanese comics and a brief history of Manga. Then we watched a video and we drew manga faces and the very famous character Pikachu in step-by-step drawing lessons. It was really fun!
Esther nos enseñó como hacer un «Comic viviente». Decidimos la trama, quien haría uno u otro personaje y lo interpretamos, viñeta a viñeta. ¡Ha sido devertidísimo!
Esther taught us how to do a «Life comic». We decided the plot, who was going to be this or that character and we played them strip by strip. It was hilarious!
En el taller de la profe Isa, hablamos sobre el papel de las superheroínas en los comics. Primero leímos sobre las protagonistas de la colección de comics »Superhero girls» y después creamos nuestra propia superheroína con sus superpoderes, cualidades y debilidades. Además, los mayores del cole pudieron crear un comics con sus superheroínas. ¡Fue muy divertido!
During teacher Isa’s workshop, we talked about the role of superheroines in comics. First, we read about the main characters of the »Superhero girls» comic collection and then we created our own superheroine with her superpowers, qualities and weaknesses. In addition, the elders of the school could create a comic with their superheroines. It was fun!
TINTÍN
El profesor Jorge/Tintín nos llevó a través de los comics del aventurero Tintín y su perro Milú por diferentes historias y conseguimos descifrar muchos enigmas.
Teacher Jorge/Tintín took us through the adventure Tintín comics and his pet Milú for different stories and we figured out many riddles.
OUR SCHOOL COMIC -El objetivo de la actividad es desarrollar un cómic cooperativo entre todo el colegio. Para ello, el taller tuvo que realizarse de forma ordenada por cursos, empezando en primero y acabando en sexto.
Al comienzo del taller, en todos los cursos, les pedí al alumnado que se agrupara en 5 equipos, y a cada equipo les di una cartulina, que iba a estar más o menos avanzada en función del curso. de primero se encargaron de los personajes, en segundo del título y el argumento, en tercero empezaron a crear las 3 primeras viñetas, en cuarto siguieron con las viñetas 4-5-6 , en quinto continuaron el cómic con las viñetas de la 7-8-9, en 6ºA siguieron con las viñetas 10-11-12 y 6ºB acabó las últimas viñetas del cómic.
El alumnado de primero se encargó de los personajes, en segundo del título y el argumento, en tercero empezaron a crear las 3 primeras viñetas, en cuarto siguieron con las viñetas 4-5-6 , en quinto continuaron el cómic con las viñetas de la 7-8-9, en 6ºA siguieron con las viñetas 10-11-12 y 6ºB acabó las últimas viñetas del cómic.
De este modo, cuando acabó el taller el 6ºB, las cinco cartulinas tenían los cómics acabados. Y esos cómics se habían convertido en “Our school comic” porque todas las alumnas y alumnos habían contribuido a crear un cómic único porque era parte del trabajo de todo el colegio.
OUR SCHOOL COMIC The objective of the activity is to develop a cooperative comic among the whole school. For this, the workshop had to be carried out in an orderly way by courses, starting in first grade and ending in sixth grade. At the beginning of the workshop, in all the courses, I asked the students to group into 5 teams, and I gave each team a card, which would be more or less advanced depending on the course.
The first-year students were in charge of the characters, in the second the title and the plot, in the third they began to create the first 3 vignettes, in the fourth they continued with the vignettes 4-5-6, in the fifth they continued the comic with the vignettes of the 7-8-9, in 6ºA they continued with vignettes 10-11-12 and 6ºB finished the last vignettes of the comic.
In this way, when the workshop finished on 6th B, the five cardboards had the finished comics. And those comics had become “Our school comic” because all the students had contributed to create a unique comic because it was part of the work of the whole school.
Con Bea y Laura el alumnado de educación infantil aprendió mucho sobre Tintín e hicieron unos banderines.
Bea and Laura taught many things from Tintín to the infant students and they made their own pennants.
Cristina y Cecilia hicieron disfrutar al alumnado de educación infantil con las historias de Astérix y Obélix y además aprendieron a hacerse sus propios cascos de galos, como en el comic.
Cristina and Cecilia helped the students from infant have a great time learning about the stories of Astérix and Obélix and they learnt to make their own gallic helmets, like in the comic.
EL MUNDO SUBMARINO/ THE UNDERWATER WORLD
Nos han dejado unos cofres, libros sobre el mundo submarino, conchas, estrellas de mar y una carta pidiéndonos ayuda.
Someone left wooden chests, books about the underwater world, shells, starfishes and a letter asking for help.

“TU PIEZA ES CLAVE PARA CONSTRUIR LA PAZ” / YOUR PIECE IS KEY TO BUILD THE PEACE
Hemos colaborado todo el alumnado y los profesores de valores del colegio en la «CELEBRACIÓN DÍA DE LA PAZ Y LA NO VIOLENCIA» con una actividad que había preparado Pilar, la profesora de religión.
All of the values teachers and pupils from the whole school worked together in the «SCHOOL DAY OF NON-VIOLENCE AND PEACE» with an activity that Pilar, the religion teacher, had prepared.
Para llegar a completar la pared con todas las piezas, hemos reflexionado mediante el testimonio de diferentes personajes de nuestro mundo sobre la necesidad y el gran reto de vivir y construir la paz y la no-violencia, a través de gestos, palabras y acciones de empatía, escucha, diálogo, respeto, solidaridad, justicia.
To complete the wall with all the pieces, we reflected with testimonies from different people in our world. They talked about the need to overcome the challenge to build and live in peace and non-violence, through gestures, words and empathic actions, the listening, the dialogue, the respect, the solidarity and the justice.
Identificar qué acciones y aptitudes puedo tener frente a mis compañeros para que nuestros ambientes sean de respeto, no violencia y acogida a todos sin que las diferencias nos separen o enfrenten, si no que nos unan y enriquezcan como personas, como colegio, como parte de la sociedad en la que vivimos.
We had to identify actions and attitudes toward my classmates in order to create a respectful, non-violent and welcoming atmosphere. Differences cannot separate or confront us, the other way around, they have to join and enrich us as people, as a school and as part of a society where we live.
Descubrir que nuestra PIEZA (nuestra vida, nuestra forma de ser, nuestra cultura, nuestros talentos y capacidades, sueños e ilusiones) es CLAVE para construir la paz hoy.

GANADORES DE LAS TARJETAS DE NAVIDAD- WINNERS OF THE CHRISTMAS CARDS
Al volver de las vacaciones nos juntamos todos e hicimos todas las actividades que nos habían quedado pendientes que no pudimos hacer por culpa de las circunstancias.
After Christamas holidays, we gathered to do all those activities that we couldn’t do due to the circumstances.
Entregamos los diplomas a nuestros compañeros de 6º que el curso pasado habían participado en el concurso de «La ciudad desde mis ojos».
We gave our classmates from 6th grade, the diplomas for participating the last course in the contest «The city from my eyes».
También se entregaron los premios de los ganadores de las mejores tarjetas de navidad.
We also gave the prizes to the Christmas Cards winners.
Jorge recogió el premio a la mejor tarjeta del 2º Equipo de E.P. porque nuestra compañera no pudo venir ese día.
George accepted the prize for the 2nd team best Christmas Card, because our classmate couldn’t come to the school that day.
En representación de todo el colegio salieron unos profesores y unos compañeros a recoger los diplomas que hemos recibido por participar en el «Christmas Jumper Day». Muchas gracias a todos por participar.

THANKSGIVING
El 25 de noviembre se celebró Thanksgivin. Es una fiesta que se celebra en Estados Unidos. Las auxiliares de conversación Kaitlyn y Jill nos enseñaron sobre la historia de esta tradición y comentamos las cosas por las que estamos agradecidos. Estamos agradecidos por nuestras familias, nuestros amigos, nuestros profesores y nuestro colegio.
On Thursday, November 25th, we celebrated Thanksgiving. It is a holiday celebrated in the United States. Our language assistants, Kaitlyn and Jill, taught us about the history of thanksgiving and we talked about what we are thankful for. We are thankful for our families, our friends, our teachers, and our school!
ASION VINO AL CENTRO/ ASION CAME TO THE SCHOOL
La Asociación Infantil Oncológica de Madrid vino al centro dentro del proyecto de sensibilización sobre el cáncer infantil y adolescente en el aula para hacer diferentes talleres por todas las clases del colegio.
The children’s oncology association came to the school with the project about raising awareness about childhood and adolescent cancer. In the classroom, we did different workshops.
Hicieron un lazo dorado con diferentes mensajes.
They made a golden ribbon with different messages.

La naturaleza es más colorida en otoño y Pilar y Mar así lo han reflejado en la decoración de entrada al colegio y nuestro hermanamiento con Méjico.
Nature is most colorful in autumn and Pilar and Mar has depicted it in the school entrance decoration and our twinning with Mexico.

En la clase de psicomotricidad, por la que pasamos todos los alumnos y alumnas de infantil, Cecilia nos enseña muchos juegos con el cuerpo y el movimiento, pero nos los enseña en inglés.

Los alumnos y alumnas de 4º ya conocíamos a nuestra tutora, Simona. Tenemos muchas suerte de seguir con ella este curso. Siempre nos relaja con música cuando subimos del recreo.
