Jennifer López López, Secundaria Nivel II Mañana
- Personalmente a mí el cuadro que más me llamó la atención es el de La Anunciación. Cuando se ve en libros o Internet no tiene nada que ver con verlo en persona.
- La Anunciación was painted by Fra Angelico in the year 1425. It portrays Virgin Mary, two angels, Adam, Eve and the Holy Spirit. I enjoyed visiting the Prado Museum.

Exhibition in The Prado Museum. We saw great paintings:
- The Garden of Earthly Delights. Triptych by El Bosco. It represents the Third Day of the Creation of the World and is divided in three panels. In the first panel we can see the Paradise with Adam and Eve; in the second or central panel the Paradise is represented, but it is a false Paradise of sin and lust. The right panel depicts Hell with a great presence of musical instruments used to torture sinners.
- The Countess of Chinchon, painted by Goya in 1800.T he most important characteristic is that the countess is pregnant.
- We also saw The Meninas (The Maids of Honour in English) by Velazquez, painted in 1656. The word “menina” comes from the Portuguese and means “niña” in Spanish. The painter uses perspective and appears in the portrait having the Red Cross of the Orden de Santiago painted on his chest.

- The Meninas portrait was painted by Velazquez in 1656. In it you can see Velazquez with the Red Cross on his chest. In the middle of it you can see the Infanta Margarita. You can also see the king and queen in the background painted in a mirror looking at the viewer. I’ve enjoyed a lot visiting the Museum.

- I found the excursion quite interesting, since I had the experience of learning and enjoying the paintings.

- Me ha gustado mucho la clase de hoy en el Museo del Prado, los compañeros estupendos. El cuadro que más me ha impresionado por su historia ha sido La Condesa de Chinchón. La clase de inglés de Ana estupenda.

- La visita al museo del Prado de Madrid fue muy interesante y recomendable. Vimos diferentes obras de arte de distintas épocas y artistas, una de las que más me llamó la atención fue el tríptico del Bosco llamado El Jardín de las Delicias.
